Demand for housing continues to rise as favorable market conditions
have endured. The three main factors encouraging rise in demand are the
growth of builder confidence, historically low mortgage rates, and the
rebound of existing-home sales. Annual pace of existing home sales in
December 2014 was 5.04 million, 3.5 percent higher than the previous
year according to the most recent report from the National Association
of Realtors®.
